The Barbados Dance Council is dedicated to advancing ballroom dancing in Barbados and strives to be the leading organisation to collaborate with government ministries and partners such as the National Sports Council and the World Dance Council.
We promote teamwork among local and Caribbean dance groups, encourage youth involvement, and provide educational opportunities through workshops and scholarships. Our Council ensures competitions meet international standards and organises national championships to showcase our talented dancers.
In 2024, the Barbados Dance Council undertook a rebranding to create a new look and feel for its logo, website (coming soon), and social media.

Let's have a look at the new branding.

This new logo showcases dancers in abstract silhouettes of both feminine and masculine forms, moving gracefully. The selected font conveys professionalism, modernity, and cleanliness.
We now take a look at the colours
Blue is the primary color that represents trust in the Barbados Dance Council, while Orange is the complementary color that symbolizes energy and vibrancy.
